The first time I encountered fractal art was on the Commodore 64, before the dawn of the modern age… when phones were only good for calling people and the internet was made of text.

Nowadays, we watch movies on our phones, text is a verb for what we do instead of calling people, and we have the technology to explore fractal designs of remarkable depth and detail. Hooray for progress!
